This is our bike. It’s a modified 2008 Triumph Bonneville. We can load it up with camping gear or we can blast around on it without all of the bags and bungeed belongings. This is a good motorcycle. There are no bad motorcycles.
Here is El Cuervo loaded with the soft bags and a seat bag on a magical, misty day, riding from Big Basin Redwoods State Park to Los Angeles via Santa Margarita Lake.
When we’re not camping yet still need a bit of luggage space these compact hard bags are just right. Shown here with the Triumph Off Road Silencers. (TORS)
Had to remount the bags to their removable brackets to adjust to the angle of the free-flowing TPUSA Dominators. The lights have been changed again, this time it’s the Lucas-style signals and tail light.
- We like Triumph’s “sixty-8” line of aftermarket accessories for the Bonneville. Here’s their Contemporary Seat with cowl. The cowl is removable and covers a small rear seat area.
